Ground Transportation
Our machining solutions techniques are particularly applicable to the production of wear parts for the transportation sector such as train, buses or automotive. For insulation components, mechanical or sensors housing of engines, transmissions, gearboxes and clutches, we carry out the precise and regular shaping of parts, often very complex. With the environmental impact of fossil energy, composite materials have the power to drastically reduce unnecessary fuel consumption.
Thanks to the composition of reinforcement materials such as glass fibres and a plastic matrix, glass fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP) can be used in a wide variety of ground transportation vehicule (ex: caravan, commercial van and bus). Thanks to our unique CNC machine, ATIMA-TPIM enables a capacity of 6000 x 3000 x 1200 to deliver large parts machined in a single panel.
Due to its high resistance, easy cleanability, the good heat-insulating values, impressive longevity, low weight and weathering and hail resistance, the electrical insulation and the humidity resistance, the GRP materials replaces traditional material such as wood, steel and aluminium equipment of hobby and commercial vehicules.
